Carbon-friendly eco design service:

Progressive Energy now offers a professional eco-design service that focuses on the construction of a carbon friendly building. All we need are architectural plans and a site map. We will provide a detailed report on minor and major alterations that can be made to the plans before construction begins so that a carbon-friendly building can be easily achieved. This report will study everything from overall dimensions, orientation, wall, floor and roof materials being used, the size, orientation and type of windows and doors being used. Recommendations will be given to either keep these the same or change to a different material/brand and potentially improve the energy efficiency of the finished building. Everything else will also be examined in detail from the intended heating system to lighting, renewable energies, ventilation, insulations, digital controls, secondary heating, chimneys, flues, etc.

By making necessary changes to these intended elements of the design, an A or B energy rating can be achieved relatively easily.
