This option caters for homeowners who want to reduce their energy bills and energy-proof their house for the future, but who don’t intend putting their house on the market for sale or rent; in this case, a BER certificate is not required by law.
This service includes a detailed advice/report which will examine fuel costs over the last year. An assessment of the house helps to identify problems leading to energy loss and evaluate all findings which will suggest low, mid and high-cost solutions to suit all budgets.

The advice/report will focus on current fuel spending; existing insulation standards with suggested improvements; infra-red thermal images identifying insulation inconsistencies; air leaks identified at doors and windows, using an ultrasonic leak detection device; efficiency and control of space and water heating; possible renewable technologies, if appropriate.
